The Verdict of the 8th International Theatre Schools Festival ITSelF 2015

The Jury of the 8th International Theatre Schools Festival ITSelF 2015 comprised of

having watched 11 performances in the competition has decided to award the following:

1. An Honorable Mention  and 2000 zlotys to The Soore University in Tehran for Slow Sound of Snow directed by Jaber Ramezani.

2. An Honorable Mention and 2000 zlotys to The Leoš Janáček Academy of Music and Performing Arts in Brno for The Absolute Happiness of a Fly or Salvador Dali’s Latest Mystification directed by Oxana Smilková.

3. The Polish Filmmakers Association Award in the form of professional photo session to

    – Alicja Juszkiewicz – a student of The Leon Schiller National Film School in Łódź, for the role of Mieze in The Stone directed by Grzegorz Wiśniewski,

    – Eryk Kulm – a student of The Aleksander Zelwerowicz National Academy of Dramatic Art in Warsaw, for the role of Woland in The Master and Margarita directed by Waldemar Raźniak.

4. The Award for the Best Supporting Role and 4000 zlotys to:

    – Mery Delgado – a student of The Academy of Dramatic Arts in Seville, for the role of Mother in The Freak Child directed by the team,

    – Barbara Wypych – a student of The Leon Schiller National Film School in Łódź, for the role of Witha in The Stone directed by Grzegorz Wiśniewski.

5. The Award for the Best Leading Role and 4000 zlotys to:

    – Marie-Louise Stockinger – a student of The Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna, for the role of Lulu in Lulu directed by David Stöhr,

    – Mike Turner – student of The Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute in New York, for the role of Matt in Red Light Winter directed by Laura Savia.

6. The Special Award and 4000 zotys founded by the President of Board of Polish Television to The Academy of Dramatic Arts in Seville for The Freak Child directed by team.

7. The Grand Prix and 10000 zl to The Max Reinhardt Seminar in Vienna for Lulu directed by David Stöhr.

8. The Audience Award goes to David Espinosa for My Great Work.
